In 1937, the Grand font family was born from a display screen in “Cafe Metropole” starring Tyrone Power. This condensed upright connecting script has an old-fashioned vibe to it with its super weight that feels subtly tied to traveling and excursions. Although this design may be out of style for bakeries nowadays, this type is designed by Brian J Bonislawsky and Jim Lyles at Astigmatic.
