The Julius Sans One font is a sans-serif font created by Danish designer Ole Schäfer, and released in 2008 as an open source typeface licensed under the SIL Open Font License. The font is based on the lettering used in the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag, a publication which was purchased by the Julius company in the 1950s. The font’s design is inspired by the minimalist designs of the 1920s and 1930s, and consists of three font styles: roman, italic and bold.
