Ge announced that they’re evolving their unique font, inspire. This new design will be more dynamic and energetic than the previous one to maintain its usefulness for company logos while adding freshness in an open way!
The changes have been met with both widespread use as well as controversy – some people feel it’s too rounded or flowing, lacking substance compared to older designs which are bolder and stronger. Despite this initial criticism Ge makes sure not only keep but also improve on what works best about the typeface so it remains a strong tool for logo creation
Eight styles make up the new Ge type collection. Four of these are serif fonts while four others sans-serifs. These two families compliment each other well but can also be used separately to achieve a nice effect as well.

The sans-serif font has open apertures, diffused curved details, barely rounded corners and terminals. All four styles (ordinary, italic, bold & formidable italic) are optimized for use within the smallest sizes – e.g., in labels or tables – as well as clear rendering on low-resolution monitors to enhance legibility from afar without sacrificing aesthetics at close range.
