Facebook is the world’s most popular social media website with over a billion monthly active users. It was founded by Mark Zuckerberg in 2004 and has been expanding and innovating ever since then, now introducing Facebook Live to give us live video streaming capabilities.
In 2003, the Facebook logo was designed through Joe Kral and Cuban council. It is an amendment of Eric Olson’s klavika, a typeface that had been created by using design foundry process kind’s Creative Director at Process Kind Foundry (Eric Olsen). The logotype was made by Joe Kral himself with only minor changes to some letters for better fit; these modifications were done in order to tame Malavika’s very unique ‘okay.’

The authentic font was changed very minorly so as not change its signature look too much; even though those changes may have been made, 95% of klavika can be seen on these letter faces because they were kept intact during design process
