In 1995, a font that made text appear more cute was needed for Fiolex’s new publishing software. It ended up being “Fiolex Girls”, which is probably one of the very first fonts with hearts embedded in them–if not the original!
This font is based on an old one which had no copyright restrictions. We don’t claim it to be a very new layout, but we will declare it to be one of the oldest and first heart-fonts. It was not so simple; far from “throws some hearts across the caps”.
